Features

Everything Vyapari Khatabook does

The digital bahi-khata for traders who lend and borrow money on interest — party-wise loans, interest up to today, multi-loan receipts and clear ledgers.

Party masters

Every party with name, city or village and contact details — searchable in a second.

Many loans per party

Give multiple loans to the same party, each with its own date, amount and ROI — just like separate entries in your bahi.

Interest the traditional way

ROI per ₹100 per month, day count including both dates, and interest compounded yearly — exactly like the Loan Calculator.

Calendar or 30-day month

Choose actual calendar days or the 30-day-month (360-day year) convention to match how you have always calculated.

Multi-loan receipts

Receive one amount and apply it across several loans. Interest is settled first, then principal — automatically.

Printable receipts

Every payment gets a clean receipt you can print or save as PDF and share with the party.

Party ledger & loan book

Date-wise ledger with given, received, ROI, days and interest — plus a full party loan book.

Loans taken by ROI

Track money you have borrowed, sorted by interest rate, so you know which loan costs you the most.

Accounts & reports

Cash and bank accounts, loan report and other reports for a clear picture of your money.

Take a look inside

Party dashboard

See every party you have lent to with principal, interest up to today and total due — sorted, searchable and ready to act on.

Party ledger with interest breakdown

Each loan with its own ROI and days. Yearly compounding is applied automatically, so the figure matches your bahi.

One payment, many loans — and a printable receipt

Receive a single amount and split it across multiple loans, interest first. Print or save the receipt as PDF.

Loans you have taken, by ROI

Track money you have borrowed too — sorted by rate, so you always know which loan to repay first.

The difference

Stop calculating interest by hand

With dozens of parties and loans at different rates, working out what is due takes hours — and one wrong day count changes the answer. Vyapari Khatabook calculates every loan’s interest up to today with no intermediate rounding, so the figure is exact and repeatable.

  • Inclusive day count — the loan date and receive date both count, like your bahi.
  • Yearly compounding — unpaid interest joins the principal every 12 months.
  • Interest breakdown shows each period so a party can see how the figure was reached.
Peace of mind

Receive money the way parties actually pay

A party rarely pays loan by loan. They bring one amount. Record it once and let the software distribute it across their loans — interest first, then principal — and print a receipt that shows exactly where every rupee went.

  • Party dashboard shows principal, interest and total due for everyone.
  • Receipts list each loan with interest and principal paid.
  • Sample data lets you explore everything before entering your own.
How it works

Add your parties

Enter loans and settings

Record each loan with date and ROI, and choose calendar days or the 30-day convention.

Receive and print

Record payments, print receipts and open any party to see what is due today.

FAQ

Vyapari Khatabook — questions & answers

How is interest calculated?

Interest = principal × ROI% × days ÷ 30, where ROI is per ₹100 per month. Both the loan date and the receive date are counted, and unpaid interest is added to the principal every 12 months (yearly compounding). Only the final figure is rounded.

Can I use the 30-days-a-month method?

Yes. In Loan / Interest Settings you can choose actual calendar days or the 30-day-month convention, where every month counts as 30 days and a year as 360 days.

What happens when a party pays part of the amount?

The payment is applied to interest first and the rest to principal. Any interest left unpaid stays pending and is compounded at the next yearly boundary — the same way it is done in a traditional bahi.

Can I record money that I have borrowed?

Yes. The “Loans Taken (By ROI)” report tracks money you have borrowed and sorts it by interest rate.

Is my data safe and private?

Your data stays in a database file on your own computer. Nothing is uploaded anywhere unless you choose to copy a backup.
